Driving directions from Cancún International Airport: Exit airport and take a right towards Hwy 307/Hotel Zone. Turn onto Hwy 307 heading north towards city of Cancún. Take exit for Hotel Zone/Blvd Kukulcan and proceed east for approximately three Km. Watch for Blue Bay Club sign, resort will be on left.

Authorized taxis, minivans (or collectivos), and private cars are the best way to make the journey from the airport to your hotel. Transportation options can be accessed as you exit the terminal to your right. A private taxi to downtown Cancún: $16–$25 USD. A private taxi to the Hotel Zone: more than $36 USD. Collectivos provide transportation to downtown Cancún: $5–$15 USD. A private car service to your hotel can be arranged: more than $36 USD. Rental cars are available at the airport and on this Web site: more than $36 USD. Note: Only authorized taxis are allowed to transport guests from the airport to their hotels. However, all taxis can take passengers to the airport from the city or Hotel Zone–cutting the fare almost in half.

Getting around: The hotel is located at the north end of the Zona Holtelera, or Hotel Zone. Public and private buses connect the Hotel Zone to downtown and ferries: less than $5 USD. Once downtown, most tourist attractions are easily accessible by walking. Taxi rates in Cancún are determined by zones and the minimum fare within the Cancún Hotel Zone is $5 USD per ride. A list outlining the various taxi rates throughout the city should be available at the resort front desk: $5–$15 USD. Taxis can be rented by the hour or day if you want to visit the historic ruins outside of the city: more than $36 USD. Always negotiate your taxi fare before beginning your trip. Ostras & Oysters - Overlooking the marina in front of the resort, this casually elegant restaurant serves Mediterranean-style ŕ la carte dinners. Reservations required.

Nachos Snack Bar - Situated next to the beach, this place serves light fare such as burgers and nachos during the day and becomes an ŕ la carte Mexican restaurant at night. Reservations required.

The resort also includes a pool bar with swim-up seating and a lobby bar. Alcoholic beverages are available until 1 AM and snack foods are available all night.

Amenity highlights: A good-sized main pool between the resort's main building and the long, white-sand beach bordering the turquoise sea provides freshwater swimming and is surrounded by a sundeck furnished with lounge chairs. The beach stretches the entire width of the resort and contains thatch-roof palapas for snoozing and reading in the shade. A 75-by-10-yard section of calm water created by an artificial reef offers toddlers the opportunity to splash safely in salt water. Built over the water in the resort's center is a two-level wood deck furnished with lounge chairs. A second pool and a children's pool are located across the street in the resort's timeshare section.
